Jax Harrison, Owner of BiscuitJax, with her “too many, but lets say 15 plus shall we”, years of experience in the entertainment industry, public relations and production (specifically television, film, and still photography), sparkles with enthusiasm.
As an Assistant Producer, on specific projects such as Swiss Family Robinson, & Enid Blyton’s Famous Five, Jax learnt that a great film is about the many layers of talent and aspects involved; from great editing, distribution, managing talent and negotiating contracts; all the details of a well run production.
Moving to Peru allowed her to put to use her newly found Spanish, along with her networking and public relations skills. Jax worked with local embassies and businesses, working with non-for-profit organizations; and producing a short film during this time.
Landing back in the United States again, Jax worked as a freelance image consultant, and photo stylist prior to starting Biscuit 8. “I was so impassioned about the great pool of people and talent I had met and worked with, that I wanted to connect them with the right clients to showcase their work.”
Having always worked in a consulting role she transferred this into a great partnership with photographers and clients, combining her talents in public relations, production, negotiation and visual aesthetics.
We are proud of our small boutique agency, which enthusiastically supports our photographers and creates great client relationships!
“I am fascinated by the way that all forms of visual interactions can influence decisions made during daily life. Authentic visual rendering creates an emotional connection and response. If there is a sensibility and mood created by the emotional connection to a photograph, a piece of art, a spectacular antique chest – and yes, even fabulous shoes, then I am a visual communications addict!”
